Stuck on a project, have a new technique you want to master, or want to learn how to sew? Bring in your fabric, patterns, or ideas and let us guide you in the right direction. Sew What is an open-sew class where your imagination and willingness to learn are the only limit. Don't have a machine? Don't worry! You are welcome to use one of our machines along with our vast collection of sewing tools and supplies.

Guided Project for Beginner to Advanced-Level Quilters
Start your quilting journey or take your skills to the next level. You can begin with a beginner quilt or choose your own pattern. From cutting, stitching, to quilting the final piece, you'll receive step-by-step support through every stage of the process. Bring your own machine or use one of ours. Bring your own materials or choose from a wide selection of materials we offer in-store.

4-Week Comprehensive Mastery Class
Get the absolute most out of your sewing machine, embroidery unit, or serger. Learn all the tips and tricks you won't find anywhere else. Over 4 weeks, we'll walk you step-by-step through all of the functions of your machine, including making buttonholes and using specialty feet. You'll also learn how to take care of your machine, including proper cleaning and oiling, to take your sewing to new heights. We only offer this class series twice per year, and it is popular with both new and veteran Bernina users. Our teacher, Lori, has been working with Bernina machines for over 50 years, and no matter what your sewing level, there is always something new to learn.
If you purchase a Bernina Sewing Machine or Serger from Ralph's Sewing and Vacuum, you will receive FREE Machine Mastery classes to learn all the tips and tricks for using your new machine.

Celebrate the holidays and the changing seasons with fun machine sewing projects using a variety of techniques. From holiday table runners to autumn home decor, we focus on exploring new techniques to give you fresh seasonal gifts and decor all year long.

Monthly Intermediate-Level Mystery Quilt
A different quilt every year, one block at a time. Before the class starts, you will receive a materials list and cutting instructions. You can choose your own fabric based on the provided guidelines, so there is plenty of room for your creativity and personality to shine! Starting in September, you will receive a set of instructions each month for 6 months. On the 7th month, you will receive a copy of the final quilt layout.

Monthly Embroidery Projects
Learn new techniques like applique, lacework, cutwork, and end-to-end quilting by completing a different project each month and enhance your existing skills. This club is intended to help you expand your machine embroidery skills, master new techniques, and refresh your memory of less-used embroidery skills. Learn new hoopings, the benefits of different kinds of stabilizer, and get inspiration for your next project.

Creative Serger Projects
Take your serger beyond basic seam finishing and hemming. Each month, we make a complete project designed to explore the possibilities of overlock and coverstitch machines. This includes decorating threading, feed adjustments, quilting, and cording.

Monthly Embroidery Design Club
A monthly club focused on using the Bernina Design Software to enhance existing projects and create new ones. Learn how to create unique monogramming and custom text to personalize quilts, clothing, and gifts, or build your own original embroidery designs completely from scratch. Artista Club welcomes newcomers and experienced users alike. Each month, we work through a new project that highlights specific software features. Feel free to ask questions, be creative, and learn at your own pace.
